Pakistan’s Commercial Mission in China has stepped up efforts to improve trade, help local exporters, and create more opportunities in the Chinese market.

These actions show stronger coordination between the two countries to grow trade and investment.

The mission has helped several Pakistani companies set up offices in China. They connected businesses with local commerce bureaus and guided them through the official registration process.

On the digital front, the mission has helped more than 10 Pakistani companies register on popular Chinese e-commerce platforms like Douyin and JD.com.

These companies are exporting products such as jewelry, pink salt, pine nuts, rice, handicrafts, and carpets.

Progress has also been made in GACC online registrations across many sectors. So far, 25 mango hot water treatment plants, 21 citrus cold treatment plants, 103 rice companies, and over 15 rapeseed meal firms have completed registration.

Registrations were also completed for 106 cherry companies, 175 seafood companies, 185 sesame seed companies, 10 fish meal companies, and seven defatted bone companies, with more in process.

Other products like onions, donkey hides, and dairy items are awaiting approval, showing a wider range of exports.

The mission also handled an average of five trade and investment queries per month, providing information on policies, importer lists, and port clearance.

They supported urgent business visas by coordinating with TDAP, BOI, and the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan.

Officials say these efforts are building trust between Chinese buyers and Pakistani exporters. The commercial mission’s work highlights Pakistan’s push to boost trade competitiveness, increase business confidence, and grow participation in China’s market.
